Guard II General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program, which supports the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training. GDIT has an immediate opening for a Guard II. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTEnforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of securityExercises judgment and use discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly,Maintain control of situation and/or monitor surveillanceEscalate any incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling as neededResponding to alarms and notifying appropriate personalAssisting customers and students with scheduling and verification of times of trainingWriting daily reports and activity logs WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEEDEducation: High School Diploma/GEDRequired Experience: 1+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Basis computer skillsSecurity Clearance Level: Secret clearance or the ability to obtain oneRequired Skills and Abilities:Specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas is requiredThe ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in writing and verbally and be able react in a timely manner.Focused customer service skills and ability to work in a team environmentGeneral computer skillsUnderstand and apply regulations applying to functional areaAbility to walk and respond to emergencies in a timely mannerClearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearanceLocation: Onsite at Daleville, ALAvailable to work non-standard hours including weekends.
