This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and Business stakeholders to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, drive process consistency, and strengthen financial reporting quality. The position offers high visibility across the organization and meaningful impact on enterprise‑level financial outcomes during a period of transformation and growth. </div><div>Key Responsibilities </div><div><ul><li>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including consolidation, analysis, and reporting. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prepare and review consolidated financial results, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial results to key stakeholders. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Coordinate intercompany activities, including eliminations and reconciliations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain and improve close and consolidation processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and automation. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Partner with business units and regional finance teams to resolve close‑related issues and ensure timely submissions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and financial governance standards. </li></ul></div><div>Qualifications </div><div>Education </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree or certification preferred. </li></ul></div></div><div><div>Experience and Skills </div><div>Required: </div><div><ul><li>4-6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, close, or consolidation roles. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong knowledge of financial close and consolidation processes. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience performing financial analysis and variance explanations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems. </li></ul></div><div>Preferred: </div><div><ul><li>Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑entity consolidations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prior experience in a large, matrixed, or global organization. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Familiarity with consolidation and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion or similar platforms). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance activities. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial results for non‑finance partners. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. </li></ul></div><div>Other: </div><div><ul><li>Language: English required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel may be required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Certifications: CPA or equivalent preferred but not required. </li></ul></div><div>For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit <a href="http://www.careers.jnj.com/" target="_blank">www.careers.jnj.com</a>.</div></div><div>Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
